B of V Review: Universal Thread at Target

Many of you know by now that Target is my go-to for pretty much anything and everything. And the arrival of their newest line has just made things so much more exciting!

Target has honed the craft of capsule collections, but their in-house private labels were always pretty basic. Ever since the introduction of the budget fashionista's J.Crew, A New Day, and their continuous collaboration with Who What Wear, Target has become a go-to that we see on our Instagram feeds non-stop.

My style blogger heart's current obsession? Universal Thread.

Although I've heard mixed reviews about the line, I have to say it is a refreshing line that can be easily integrated into a wide range of wardrobes. I don't only mean just because of their inclusive range in sizes, but also because of how simple but great canvases their pieces are.

They have a pair of jeans for everyone! I stuck with a Mid-Rise Skinny Jean in a size 14. An everyday pair I can wear to run errands, with a nice blouse, or to work.

Since I'm wearing these gorgeous Universal Thread sandals, I decided to cuff the bottom of my jeans, but they are really the perfect length.

My sandals are comfy and such a great necessity once Spring and Summer come around. And just like my jeans, they are just $25.

But my all time favorite piece I found from this line is the layering cardigan. I currently only have it in the blue, but I have my eye on the peachy pink one for those chilly days in the Spring.

The cardigan has an interesting dye treatment that almost makes it look like it was dyed along with a pair of jeans. That's why I fell so in love with the blue!

It's also available in black and olive green.

Universal Thread also has really beautiful dresses and skirts which I am excited to try, but again, I am going to wait until the days get a little warmer.

Anxious to shop these pieces? Check out the Shop page and click on the photos to go directly to their site!

Have you tried any pieces from the line? What did you think of their jeans? Anything you dislike about Target's newest line?

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Be sure to comment!
