Style Guide to Audrey Hepburn's Most Iconic Looks

Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorite actresses, style muses, and overall inspirations. She was in classic films that are cherished by many, even to this day, but more importantly, she was a remarkable human being that helped many, even after her film career.

I love learning more about her, but one thing I've known since the start is how incredibly elegant, poised, and stylish she was in all aspects of her life. Whether we're talking about the gowns she wore in films or the modest dresses she wore running errands in Rome, she always looked amazing.

It was difficult to pick just a few Audrey-inspired styles to showcase, but here are a handful that are easy to emulate in everyday life.

Funny Face Look

Funny Face is a beloved film where the list of iconic looks is endless. But the most easy to emulate is probably the all-black dance look. I mean, do we all remember how there was an entire GAP ad dedicated to that scene and this pant silhouette?

Backstage Look

Audrey Hepburn knew how to dress both on and of-screen. Hubert de Givenchy was her stylist and friend, so I'm sure she managed to pick up a few things from him here and there. Also, she chose simple silhouettes that reflected her background in dance. These were flattering and always let her natural beauty shine through.

Holly Golightly Look

Although I'm sure I'm not the only one that wishes she could wear the classic LBD look (tiara and all) from Breakfast at Tiffany's everyday, it's just not realistic. What is realistic is that we all wear some sort of lounge wear when going to bed. So why not dress in the famous Holly Golightly sleepwear look?

When you think of Audrey Hepburn, what look do you think of first? It's difficult isn't it!? Well then, which one is your favorite? I have to say, not only her look in Roman Holiday, but also the pink dress she wears in Breakfast at Tiffany's are some of my favorites. So stunning!
