I was so excited to reach out to these three ladies to be a part of this series because they are true individuals in this fashion blogging game. Their styles are unique and their personalities are genuine. I'm honored to introduce to you, Liza, Lorena, and Milana.
This "caffeine queen" and her feed are total #goals! From floral backdrops to statement earrings that could make any girl swoon, Liza portrays femininity and effortlessness like a pro. She is, in my opinion, a top blogger for style inspiration!
This Colombiana is as eccentrically chic as the city she lives in. Based in San Francisco, Lorena showcases everyday style suitable for a girl chasing her dreams in a big city. Her page is a fun mood board of attitude and fashion you won't see anywhere else.
Milana is one of my favorite bloggers to follow because she is completely and apologetically herself. From her outfit choices to her Instagram Story reactions to Catfish and Jersey Shore, she is that BFF we all wish we had! Plus she looks flawless in pink!
1. What 3 songs would you include in the soundtrack of your life?
Liza: "Forever Young” - Rod Stewart, “Everywhere” - Fleetwood Mac, and “You Can Get It If You Really Want” - Desmond Dekker
Lorena: "Fidelity by Regina Spektor, Nuestra Canción by Monsieur Perine, and Dear Prudence by The Beatles loving the Across the universe version tho."
Milana: "Hmm, this is a tough one. My top three would be Get Me Bodied by Beyonce, Looking For You by Kirk Franklin and Survivor by Destiny's Child."
2. What is one of your favorite quotes?
Liza: “Just because you are soft does not mean you are not a force to be reckoned with. Both honey and wildfire are the color gold."
Lorena: "A girl should be two things who and what she wants - Coco Chanel" & "Feet, What do I need you for, when I have wings to fly - Frida Kahlo"
Milana: "I'm not sure what my favorite quote would be, but my favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6."
3. If you were reincarnated as an animal what would it be and why?
Liza: "110% I’d be a sloth. My sister calls me “Sloth”, probably because I nap too much."
Lorena: "A hummingbird because they symbolize to me freedom and they are multitaskers and have endless energy and their peaceful to look at."
Milana: "I have never really thought about this, I guess a bird."
4. If you, as a blogger, could collaborate with any brand, which would you choose?
Liza: "Hmm, that’s a great question! Probably Gucci because go big or go home, am I right?"
Lorena: "For me it's hard to tell because I love items of brands but sometimes I don't feel I can attach to just one brand that I absolutely love but some brands I'd love to work with are Alice & Olivia and ASOS."
Milana: "I would choose Target. I love everything about their store and their brand."
5. What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
Liza: "That is a hard question, I started working at the age of 14 (hello child labor lol!) at a bagel shop, so my parents have always instilled a strong work ethic in myself and my two siblings. What I can think of lately that I’ve bought with my own money is I decided to treat myself for my upcoming 30th birthday to my first piece of Chanel. I haven’t revealed it on my Insta yet, but I’ll give a hit: it’s gold with pearls!"
Lorena: "A hardcore laptop to design."
Milana: "A pair of RayBan aviators."
6. What is a reality show you are obsessed with?
Liza: "Bachelor in Paradise - it is my guilty pleasure. It is equal parts humorous, distasteful, and hopeful!"
Lorena: "I really loved The Hills and The City."
Milana: "The Housewives series, it is so entertaining. Catfish is a close second."
7. What is an article of clothing (button down, kitten heels, beret, etc.) that defines your style and you know you'll forever have in your closet?
Liza: "I’m probably known for my off the shoulder tops. There’s nothing I love more than a flow OTS top, it gives any outfit some extra flair!"
Lorena: "I would say I always have a leather Moto style jacket in all different kind of versions and colors."
Milana: "You will always find a dress in my closet. Wearing them always makes me feel so pretty."
8. What's something you did growing up that got you in trouble?
Liza: "Yikes, well, if we’re being honest, I forged my dad’s signature on my progress report in 6th grade. One of my teachers called my mom with concerns about my grade and my mom went through my desk and found my practice signatures. There was a parent-teacher conference I had to attend, 25 Our Father's I had to write, and extra chores I had to do. Not my finest moment, but I’m lucky to have had parents that made me get my act together."
Lorena: "Loving the wrong guy got me in lots of trouble."
Milana: "Talking back to my mom."
9. What do you do for self-care days?
Liza: "Self-care days include a mani-pedi spa treatment with the extra hot stone massage and paraffin wax treatment. I also try to put a mask on my face, and give myself an afternoon off for a long nap."
Lorena: "Moisturizing my face and body is crucial to me everyday after shower."
Milana: "I turn on my favorite songs and have a mini spa day. I'll do my nails, deep condition my hair, enjoy a nice face and body scrub and I'll do a face mask. I'll probably be drinking a glass of wine while doing so."
10. If you had to let one of your friends or a family member dress you and make all style decisions for you, who would you choose?
Lorena: "My Brother. I think he is the one that knows more my style and he also has awesome taste."
Milana: "Definitely my mom. She understands my style!"
Thank you to these gorgeous ladies for connecting with me and being a part of this installment of "10 Questions with!"
